Pros

Reasonable pay rate, hybrid schedule, Culture within admissions team is friendly and supportive. Great opportunity to access education/free tuition for employees.

Cons

Complete disconnect of upper management/leadership in respect to the population this organization serves. The University is presented as serving under-served populations but recent changes to programs, tuition and policy directly contradicts this.

Pros

Dedicated staff, inspiring mission statement.

Cons

Disconnected leadership. Many nonsensical, expensive initiatives, for which the best-informed internal stakeholders are seldom consulted. A strictly top-down management structure that creates frustration and a sense of futility (and subsequent high turn-over) at the middle management and staff levels.

Pros

Work from home 3 days a week.

Cons

If you have any issues, HR is unhelpful as they consistently ignored my emails. I had to follow up on one email 4 times over a month just to get a response... Pay is lower than other area colleges with worse benefits. People here are out for their own interests and aren't afraid to use you to get there.
