Pros

None for lower management level personnel.

Cons

When upper management can never be accountable for bad decisions,(not even to minor stock holders) there is something ethically wrong with the leadership.

Pros

Very nice place to work. Management is very helpul and easy to approach. Even though Exchange bank is goint through a diffcult time right now it still works with the community and gives back to the community. Exchange Bank is a very good place to work and balance your time with family and work.. You work 40 hours a week sometimes more but only if you choose to work more otherwise you are not expected to work more than that..

Cons

Itis not very easy to move up the ladder, but if you try hard you might go up some places.

Nice to be part of a local bank, but...

Pros

No sales pressure, barely any goals at all actually. Tellers are only required to get TWO sales a month! Set weekly schedules, although there's opportunity to take an extra day if a branch needs someone short notice. Decent starting pay for a teller position. Mostly friendly atmosphere between employees, although they can be a lot more serious than the bigger banks. Just a whole different atmosphere

Cons

Technology is quite inadequate for employees, it eats of a lot of time trying to make it work correctly or making up for pressing a wrong button. Vacation time can be hard to schedule if you are a newer employee as most other employees have been there for a couple decades, so no way you're getting any seniority. Slight lack of motivation with bankers since sales goals are low....oh, and there's basically ZERO compensation/bonus plan. Also, they use a ton of paper since they are not up with technology and lots of simple banking tasks have to be completed manually with a pen.
