Pros

Performance is rewarded, and there is a heavy emphasis on teams.

Cons

The job is difficult, managers are usually rockstars but can also be difficult at times. This can leave employees feeling stuck and stressed out. Also the Chandler location that I used to work at experienced mass layoffs at the beginning of 2020, and I'm not sure if they are still operating there at all.

Exeter Finance has never had operations in Chandler, Arizona. That said, we hope your feedback gets to the right place. If in fact you worked for us, we’re glad to see that you enjoyed performance recognition and the team-centric approach we have here at Exeter, but we are sorry to see that your overall experience wasn’t as positive. That’s never the experience we want for any team member, and we aim to provide employees with the tools they need to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Thank you for your feedback and service with Exeter. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

We hate to hear that you had a negative experience while working at Exeter. Our Benefits team works hard to regularly evaluate compensation to ensure all employees are paid fairly and that our pay is competitive relative to the market and our competitors. This includes conducting annual compensation reviews using market surveys and participating in an annual merit exercise each year on top of monthly or annual bonuses. Our goal is always to create as much opportunity as possible for our employees, and we drive those opportunities through several internal mobility programs. We appreciate your years of service with our company, and we wish you the best of luck on your future endeavors.

Pros

My fellow analysts were a pleasure to work with and we were truly a team. Most of the senior agents got along well and worked together well.

Cons

Poor pay in comparison to other companies in the industry, per agent. Bonus structure was lacking and accolades were more along the lines of paper with your name on it saying "great job." I got a ton of these and it never felt like I was ever really of any real value, even when I was crushing my numbers. It was NEVER worth being top analyst...for you.
