Pros

Near the beach, nothing else

Cons

This is a terrible company, and has illegal practices, meaning no breaks, sometimes 10hour work days, pay dates are skipped, commission if not given. You’ll be expected to work long hours alone, or they’ll cut your hours with no notice. Massage therapist constantly get their shifts cut with sometimes 1 hour notice. Front desk staff is expected to work many positions alone with lies and excuses of things will get better. If you’re hired as front desk you’ll be expected to be a spa attendant because the real spa attendant barely get shifts over 4 hours a day, but they don’t tell you that until after you start. In the interview I was told they have spa attendants and no real cleaning was required. No one lasts more than a year. They will fire people without cause, lie on you, lie to you, make sure you have proof in form of email/text b/c they will deny they promised you for example a particular requested day off. There have been a bunch of new hires with some quitting the same day once they see the mess that is exhale. They pay the lowest in the industry for massage therapist and support staff such as spa attendants and front desk. We get commission on selling memberships, yet they never add it and if you don’t keep track and demand your pay you won’t get it. The company also doesn’t pay on time. The company is just not worth your time.

Pros

Steady clientele, positive work culture, good pay

Cons

The company was bought and sold twice in 5 years. Sometimes positivity was forced. Management went from season to season without taking a moment to think or rest.
