Pros

Salary; 3 weeks vacation; insurance; however pros no way offset cons

Cons

Incredibly depressing environment; the culture and values preached are not adhered to; severe communication issues and outdated processes; zero transparency and poorly defined metrics; strangely run almost like a "boys club"; nonsensical rules that almost seem like they are meant to be demoralizing.

Pros

It has massive opportunities to dip your metaphorical toes in all sorts of cross department training programs. Not just classroom time, you get side by side training with pros who have brrn doing it forever

Cons

While there are a few female identified folks in key positions , this is still by far a boy's club. It is very difficult to move up if you are not a white cis male... not impossible but certainly an uphill battle

They have a terrible reputation for a reason

Pros

They never fire anybody. If you are a poor performer, then they push you off to a different team. Being seen as a poor performer really has nothing to do with your job experience. All they really care about is whether you follow all their trivial rules that they have. Clock in at 8am and clock out at 5pm and pretend like you are working hard and you will fit right in.

Cons

Professional work attire, nepotism (just ask anybody how they got into the company), low salary, senior level management that belong in the industrial revolution. A lot of people list that they have good health insurance, but every single company I worked for after this one offered me better health insurance plus other benefits. Their ESPP and 401(k) matches and other stock options do not vest unless you stay there for at least 5 years.
