Pros

Expeditors provides their employees good benefits such as healthcare & 3 weeks paid vacation for the employee's first calendar year with the company & provides severance pay for termination. Employees also have a good amount of autonomy.

Cons

While its great that Expeditors provides its employees with autonomy, there's a lack of management (including no HR dept) that makes it a very sink or swim work environment. This creates a hyper political environment that gives employees with connections in the company an advantage over employees that come in green. The training consists of videos that contained information about the company that weren't relevant to the challenges the job provided, this leads to conflict between coworkers when it came to fundamental job functions.

Pros

The team of people I worked with were great. There were opportunities for personal growth.

Cons

Management seems to live in their own little world. The company is extremely slow to change. People were expected to take on more and more without also being paid adequately for it. Work/life balance decreased my entire time working there. No HR department so you had to be careful in who you talked to. Compensation is very below average.
