Pros

100% paid health, dental, vision insurance. Very stable company, they rarely let go people, the money is there, you just have to go get it.

Cons

Work and life balance isn't there. Lots of overtime that leads to long days at work and no life outside the office.

Pros

Stable, profitable company with no-layoff policy; large in-house IS department (600+) located in downtown Seattle; complex business problems to be solved; good people; 100% of healthcare premiums covered for employee and dependents

Cons

One-size-fits-all policies and culture are hard to swallow in IS; difficult to attract and retain top IS talent in Seattle; lots of cooks in the kitchen; too many projects to deliver quality software, quickly; compensation, vacation, and work schedule/flexibility are not competitive for IS market; pace of change/evolution is slow
