Pros

The Health Benefits are amazing compared to the industry. In addition, they are recognized as the industry leader and boost your resume.

Cons

The management was difficult to reach, and extremely careless about the employees. I had no exit interview, and they generally do not seek a relationship besides that of work matters.

There is job stability and excellent medical benefits- but thats it.

Cons

Expeditors loves proclaiming top-notch 'professionalism' in the industry, but somehow manage to promote idiots with barely a high school education to supervisor/management positions. EI LAX is capitalism at its finest- why hire more people when 1 slave can do the job of 3? No rasies or bonuses are given to non-mangement employees, although the $$$$ is there. Ridiculous expectations from low-level management towards employees. No Human Resources Dept. HIGHLY STRESSFUL WORK ENVIRONMENT.

The employee benefit package is quite nice. Over the last three years the Employee stock purchase plan has been profitable.

Cons

Long hours. Not uncommon for a to work 12-14 hours on a Friday. Busiest times right before holiday's, making it difficult to take time off around any holiday.
