Pros

Most people are reasonable and professional. There are some great and smart people working at this company. A good place to put in your eight hours and go home. If you are settled down and want a decent and stable long-term job, then this might be a great company to join. Well-managed finances and conservative decisions.

Cons

Old-fashioned corporate environment that does not appeal to everyone. Much corporate propaganda and a cult-like Twin Peaks feel to the place. While there are some motivated and talented employees, others just don't care about what they are doing and don't want to be there. Much office politics and a rank hierarchy more attune to the military than a business or IS company.

Pros

The company has good core values, solid financial base, and plenty of opportunity in lower and middle management.

Cons

There's a lot of turnover in the first year, and teams can run lean for extended periods of time. Benefits and salaries are slow to advance until you are proven; and even then a bad manager can really hold you back.

- some great co-workers - smart ppl to work with - while salary may be lower than industry average, bonus makes overall comp competitive

Cons

too many good management places taken, no way to move over them even if one is extraordinary, little personal freedom to work on your own idea, too much protocol
