Dress code is strongly enforced, RTO is poorly explained or not rational

super conservative company where the executive team still operates as though they're living in the 1970's. no frills work place. you even have to bring your own spoons/forks if you want to eat lunch. they do have a coffee bar that serves various coffees and teas but that's about all the freebies you'll get at this company. you have to dress business casual... they just got rid of wearing ties recently.
