Pros

Exposure to resources that will help you navigate the online marketing medium is the biggest plus. You have the opportunity to learn the industry from a client, project management and publishing perspective. If you are looking to start your career in the online marketing space I would give this place two years MAX. Don't waist your time beyond that unless they offer you a higher title.

Cons

Unfortunately they do not know how to effectively use talented people. They do not know how to train effective managers which is VERY important when building teams that support the demands of very large companies. The company is going through some growing pains unfortunately have the highest impact on the many overworked and underpaid employees.

A short term focused organization.

Pros

- International culture and scale - Business Model (captive clients, comfortable revenue...)

Cons

- Pure finance approach (annual redundancy plan), - No employee focus (no recognition, no career plans, no consistant performance review), - No customer focus (only politics), - Too much politics. Examples of this: - Senior management spending time in internal politics and so ignoring both clients and employees. - Frequent redundancy plans (and mass hiring right before and right after). - High pressure and workload with lots of unpaid overtime several months before project closure (and success), no reward whatsoever in the end (just getting fired because project was delivered on time for annual redundancy plan...). - Individual layoff of experienced people as soon as they face a personal issue.

A once great company... on the verge of collapse

Pros

Great benefits, awesome co-workers, free food and drink in the kitchen, tons of happy hours (to dull the pain of layoffs)

Cons

Compensation (not competitive compared to industry), excessive outsourcing, the mass amount of work that people who are staying/left over must take on to account for all of the exits/lay offs, lack of culture in the US, poor technology
