Pros

- Total annual compensation above average (for the same positions in the market) - Lifestyle and balance between professional and private life - The industry itself, high tech, information based - International exposure in Latin Amercia

Cons

- Very political environment - Advance in career based on knowing the right people rather than performing a good work, no meritocracy in it core values - High turnover in the senior management team

incompetent local management

Pros

Above average salary, good medical benefits, nice pantry.

Cons

Incompetent local head has dragged the once great company into the gutters. Focus is on petty immaterial issues while important strategic company matters are ignored which reflects weak leadrship skills. The mgt keeps printing company teeshirts while morale is low and the ship is sinking. Able to attract competent staff but clueless on how to retain them.
