Pros

Management here truly believes in work life balance. They pride themselves on meeting all the needs of the Technical Support team form allowing members to work from home while caring for the occasional sick child home with the flu to understanding needing time off for parents having terminal illnesses. The Technical Support team spends lots of time together outside of work which, to me, created more of a family atmosphere while at work. Even the Vice President and manager of Customer Support would roll up their sleeves and jump head first in so day to day issues. This in itself was refreshing and motivated the team to work just a little harder to meet customer goals.

Cons

The only con is, I no longer work there because I had to move back to SC. I truly love Passport Health Communications.

Pros

Great subject matter expertise, really smart people, good freedom/ flexibility, diverse product array, highly compliant in a strictly regulated industry.

Cons

Very departmentalized (think silos!); if you are not located in Costa Mesa, it can be challenging to network up and also difficult to hear the "real" statement senior leaders are making; strategic vision seems to have left with prior leadership.

Pros

Orange County is a great place to live Some really great talent in certain parts of the businesses If you work here, work in Decision Analytics or Credit Services ONLY The new North America CEO is great

Cons

Terribly underpaid, unless in the top 3 layers of management Wait a couple of years as change should be a good thing for this company - too many people have stayed too long because they know politics rather than having an expertise Competition is going to wipe away at least 1-2 of the 4 businesses in the foreseeable future Regional leadership constantly complains about Obamacare Regional-Global/Matrixed structure makes it impossible to do what's right for the business (regional businesses hate the globalization efforts because they don't want to lose their jobs, so you can't support global without getting your head cut off) Too many people have been there too long that they fight for their alliances rather than for the business, which is a big reason why they aren't doing so well - increasing competition is the biggest reason
