Pros

Leverage with the Manpower name and having been in business for a very long period of time that people are able to associate with in the staffing industry. Some very talented people here that you can learn a lot from and network with.

Cons

Leadership that will attempt to control you in and out of work. They have no problem passing the blame onto employees when things are challenging and being the first ones to take credit with successes. Huge culture of gossip, nepotism and playing favorites in general. Leaders love to call out your short comings publicly in front of others and belittle you to the point that you have minimal self esteem. My manager told us they were doing us a favor of giving 2 weeks of unpaid furlough, talk about being egotistical. Extremely frugal when it comes to technology, took away Salesforce.com to go to MS Dynamics. The sales enablement tools they do have don't even work together so you have to go to individual locations to use them. No accommodation for Covid, still expect you to hit your same numbers despite significant reductions in hiring and layoffs in the global workforce. Lack of transparency at Leadership level, they said they took a pay cut but wouldn't disclose it to the rest of the organization. They haven't provided any work from equipment other than what you had at the office and a 10% discount to go to Office Depot and order extra supplies. Fees are much higher than other competing agencies. Minimal career growth, your best opportunity is to gain more commissions. Extreme lack of diversity & inclusion.

Pros

Worked independently, Nice people to work with.

Cons

No matter how they slice it, a "consultant" is really a temp worker. My company got outsourced by Experis and we went from 5 weeks paid time off a year to ZERO. They would not budge. Right off the bat they started hiring temps and once the transfer of knowledge was done, so were the original employees. Lost a 20+ year job thanks to being outsource by Experis.
