      Contracted to Dell Services by Experis, good experience

      Pros

      Excellent initial interview, where it was clear that Experis knew the client (Dell), had placed many contractors in the role before, and asked specific screening questions. Support throughout client interview process, clear directions to site, dress code/cultural advice, and pointers. Continual support through onboarding process with client, and during assignment.

      Cons

      Other contractors in same role, same location received higher hourly rates while they had less experience than me. They also received increases after 6 months, and I did not. Not sure if this was Experis, or maybe I wasn't so great.

      Pros

      Nice building, lots of place to stretch around, sales environment, we banged the desks every time someone rings a bill.

      Cons

      All boys club and every person to himself, people were rude- no one respected you. management was all over the place, we were forced to lie on the phone about the company and incentives. No real training, awful really. Commission was not realistic, sold dreams when first joining of 30-40k in first year. Realistically it would be good if you hit 20 after your 16k basic salary.

      Pros

      Conveniently located in downtown Houston. Decent base. Good team mates. Nice building. Great places for lunch.

      Cons

      The worst management I have ever experienced. There was structure but no real management. Heads of department were terrible. No connect between the BDM's and the recruiters. All BDM's but one were terrible. Was not given a good shot at success here. I felt I was treated extremely unfairly. Good riddance.
