Pros

Working with your coworkers to help employees find their ideal positions! Helping clients and building relationships!

Cons

No work/life balance. Asked to check emails and call outs from employees on the weekend with no compensation given. If asked, it was denied. Given a “leadership title” like senior employment specialist with no compensation or any form of gratitude. I know each franchise owner is different but when it comes to compensation, they’re all the same. CHEAP PAY for all the work and issues! No Employment Specialist last more than 2-3 years due to the fact that we’re doing 3 jobs in 1! Senior employees paid less than new employees coming in. Constantly called when taken a sick day— the franchise owner would make it a habit to call you when you call out sick and even worse has the audacity to have you work from home when you’re sick!!! No boundaries whatsoever—

Don't do it

Pros

Some of the coworkers are nice, but the turnover is so high that you won't be working with them for long.

Cons

The pay is really low and you're constantly hearing empty promises of promotions and pay raises. You're also told not to hire "certain people" (basically anyone that's not white) for certain jobs. All the while they always talk about what great work they're doing for the community and how meaningful it is to work there.

Pros

The owner I had made sure my cubicle was ergonomic friendly, great location to go get food and most of the coworkers were very friendly. I got to meet new people all the time and the owner also had a decent set up for the kitchen. Being on call landed you a day off the week after or you could bank it (which is nice) and you got your birthday off for free without using PTO. The medical benefits are great Fast-paced so the day goes by fast

Cons

Overwhelming amount of workload for the pay Commission rates are not that high (>1%) Constantly being told to call when you have a ton of documentation to do The documentation process is a very tedious process with a very slow ATS. Constantly staying late due to more calls, quality checks (very redundant) and last minute job orders with low pay that you have to call for. Overall the job was beyond stressful and exhausting daily Sick and PTO are 14 days tops Owner stated about sick days: "If I can work with a stroke, you can come into work sick." Which is appalling, rude and doesn't respect those that may get sick worse than others. Work/life balance was abysmal
