Pros

The long term guests made working there worthwhile.

Cons

Very little support from upper management. HR is only in place to protect the interests of the company at large, while individual hotels are left overburdened and understaffed. There is hardly any incentive for housekeeping and GSRs to do their jobs properly due to low pay. This, in turn, leverages them to under perform and also the reason why turnover is high. It is a very stressful environment and open to several breaches of safety for guests and staff alike. I would not recommend ESA unless you enjoy ring leading an insane asylum of a circus rodeo. Management only cares about the money. There is zero work life balance. Be prepared to be on call 24/7.
