Sounds like your team is small but mighty. We appreciate all of our "small but mighty" teams-- we know you are not the only one. We encourage our managers & employees to use that work flexibility to manage their own well-being. While we need to meet our goals, and we want all of our employees to take care of themselves first.

Pros

+ Big upside + Technology story + Talented co-workers Extreme is making huge strides in gaining market share against the likes of Aruba and Cisco, especially over the last year or so. The Aerohive acquisition was a big boost to the company. The products and technology are coming together. The experience and knowledge within the company is top-notch. Tons of talented folks to learn from and collaborate with. Right now is a great time to join the company, as you can make big contributions in turning the company around during its transition to the cloud.

Cons

- Company is in transition - Highly distributed employee base In the past, there may have been some tough reviews of the company, but this was prior to some of the previous acquisitions Extreme made. Today, the company is in the midst of a so-far very successful transition to the cloud. One other downside is that if you collaborate with many teams, your schedule might be a bit difficult, as people are located in Europe, East Coast, West Coast. I'd recommend setting some boundaries to make sure you get some sleep :)

Thank you for providing the "in the past" statement. Change is ever present. It's necessary for growth and often comes with bumps in the road and some times even missteps. We hope we learn from our past so that we can grow our future. We are happy to have you aboard!!
