Pros

Depending on your location, most offices have a great company culture. The benefits are good and the pay is competitive

Cons

Because the tech industry is changing so rapidly, your job is not safe here. There's a lot of structural changes, acquisitions, layoffs etc. HR could use some help in creating career ladders etc.

Pros

Data networking as a category is pretty mature but Extreme is in the midst of re-shaping how users can and should leverage their network to compete more effectively. That represents a pretty cool opportunity to break with traditional convention and try something new.

Cons

Everyone says they want change, that does not mean everyone actually embraces change if they have to re-think a long established process or belief. This is especially true as networking moves to the cloud in a SaaS type model.
