Pros

Good salary, nice people, good life/work balance

Cons

Poor integration of recent acquisition, leadership is not able to have its management teams execute the company's vision. Some employees have been there for more than 15 years and are obviously not the first ones to be willing to change.

Pros

Decent salary, nice commute, lots of autonomy and flexibility with work schedules.

Cons

Little to no advancement. Lots of unchecked sexism. Very stingy with pens and log books, never mind things we really need.

Rescued from a failing company - So far, so good here ...

Pros

Overall, great people to work with, teamwork and collaboration across product lines, and geographic sites, is strong and encouraged.

Cons

Shaky market in an otherwise growing economy leads to some degree of uncertainty. Not a problem unique to Extreme though. New acquisitions are still trying to find their fit in "the big picture". Sometimes you feel like you are "on" 24x7 ... it's hard to leave work when it follows you home.
