      Pros

      A great place to work , great people to work with , always helpfull for the newbies on the block.

      Cons

      The reviews from others, are somewhat concerning but thus far I have not witnessed any behavior from the company, that would be considered outlandish. You are expected to work and you are expected to perform to the best of your abilities on every project.

      Pros

      Good quality products. Professional Audio / Video products designed in the US (for the most part). Acceptable compensation for new graduates. Internal Training Program provides an overview of concepts for customer services reps. Employees that honestly represent the capabilities and limitations of the product.

      Cons

      Company has a spit personality. It appears there is little communication between sales and engineering. The products are good but could be better if ideas were not filtered through marketing. Most engineers at Extron enjoy their jobs, which cannot be said for "application engineers" that reside on the sales floor. When it is busy, there is a constant barrage of IMs and fire alarms (no joke) reminding you that other callers are waiting. The business software is ancient and the work pace is fast which leads to an increased chance of making a mistake. Poorly veiled fraternization that goes unchecked.
