Pros

They hire people with no experience, which gives you a chance to start something new, something you never did before.Very international, very tolerant, your nationality, gender or color does not matter. Good benefits package.

Cons

Limited career development after 2-3 years. Most of trainings or not really relevant for the job. They are very general. Salaries could be better.

Pros

The best healthcare benefits. Different options to take time off or work part time. Good for working mother with moderate career goals (not for VP to be working moms). College graduate advance pretty fast.

Cons

Company culture is very conservative and arrogant. The environment is extremely competitive. Performance evaluation process is very subjective; ranking can be very unfair if your boss doesn't fight for you. In XOM you can be just a number, it's toooooooo big.

Pros

Very interesting work. There is opportunity for large interaction with very important suppliers and clients. It is the best for work experience! The management is very concerned with the work environment and makes it very comfortable.

Cons

First, the pay is not so good. Your colleagues at other companies will be paid more than you. There also many "controls" on everything. The American corporation is considered most holiest thing. If American employee comes then this word is better than yours even though you know this market better. Last years we witnessed very high turnover because of the pay problem and people were confident, but company would not give them self decisions.
