Pros

Some of the pros of working for ExxonMobil: job security, career development - they prioritize promoting internal employees vs. external hires, campus with Chick-fil-A and other great food options…

Cons

It’s a big, old school company - they move slow, respect hierarchy and have a lot of red tape. They’re also an oil and gas company - the energy transition has caused a lot of stakeholder pressure and latest trends in ESG actively affect the stock price.

Pros

XOM is an elephant in the O&G business, and this means processes are a well oiled machine. Responsibilities are clear, and this is a great place to learn end to end processes, best practices and to develop your career as well as having international experience, as you are exposed to colleagues from all around the world.

Cons

In recent years, with the stabilization of the GBC and also due to its structure, the center has experienced difficulties to retain talent. This translated into valuable talent leaving the company.
