      Great friends and people to work with. Challenging assignments. Long term career planning.

      Not enough females at work, technology is not valued and is seen more as a service.

      great pay and benefits if you can handle the cons

      Cons

      It has a cult like and somewhat intimidating atmosphere with "Big Brother" looking over your shoulder. This is exemplified by the current use of the old Jack Welch system of ranking employees, albeit without the layoffs. Career progression is systematic and secretive (head down and trust the system). Some of management seems to struggle (or have zero desire) to hold a conversation on topics other than company business.
