Pros

Some organizations have fantastic people. And really, by some, I mean one organization has great colleagues and management. The rest, not so much.

Cons

Moral is in a constant down spiral. Execs are completely out of touch with the rest of their employees, and tone deaf. All they care about is their bottom line, which I can understand to an extent, but if you want good people then you need to treat your people good. Simple as that.

Starting salary tends to be high despite bonus being pretty slim until you hit Executive Job movement and new roles fairly regularly, keeps it interesting Pension still exists

Cons

Hyper competitive Lack of transparency Management lives in a world completely disconnected from average workers Workplace flexibility is non-existent Hoteling - everyone on Campus It’s like living with your parents, they take care of you but you have to follow all the rules

Lots of opportunity to work in different roles and build various skills and be exposed to multiple parts of the business. High performing peers that are capable of amazing accomplishments. You will come across lots of good people.

Cons

The performance assessment system can be brutal, especially for those in supervision. The company over the last 4 years has seemed to prioritize shareholders more than its employees. A lot of employees are unhappy with the current culture.
