Pros

Most of the working level professionals are competent. Relatively good collaboration among different teams (depends on which units the employee is assigned to). Good exposure to different functions at the sites including commercial functions such as supply chain and product planning. Opportunity to expose to different roles for career growth but ONLY for high performers.

Cons

Poor leaderships due to most leaders take up the role as "touch and go" basis, goals and directions keep on changing as new leaders on boarded. Most leaderships are redundant, do not serve actual purposes and contributions, overlapped R&Rs. For example, 3 supervisors for 1 engineering discipline. Employees' benefits being cut down over 3 years time.

Great opportunities, if you are a self-starter, and show potential, you can try a lot of different it/business areas. Local/Budapest IT management is decent, but as it is just an ssc/bsc (however you call it), it has its limits in terms of how much they can affect the company culture/rules.

Cons

HQ/Houston upper management is very old-fashioned and creates an unhealthy culture.
