Pros

Local level coworkers are great. PTO time is generous.

Cons

Upper management leaves much to be desired. Health benefits are expensive. Too many initiatives and policies that make day to day work frustrating and excessively long. Communication is lacking, including basic information such as how to perform job tasks assigned. You are consistently set up for failure.

Pros

I really like working at ECSP. The people here are friendly and the work is easy enough. So far, it’s been nothing but good.

Cons

Still trying to understand why the company has such a problem with turnover. It doesn’t make any sense to me.

Pros

Insurance share costs are less expensive than what we had prior to ESP takeover.

Cons

This company takes over the management of private ophthalmology practices. In the beginning, they assure current employees of those practices that nothing will change, and benefits will be better. After a couple of years, they start cutting benefits (PTO, education allowances, bonuses) and make excuse after excuse for not giving annual raises. Annual raises are very small when they do happen. One executive after another is replaced and the turnover is high. Stay away from this company!
