From Employee to Contractor without notice
Pros
It’s a job and because I have to put more than 5 words. It’s a job
Cons
The managers are clueless about work ethics. The company thrives on favoritism and bullying. They hire contractors vs internally which is a magnet for attrition. You’re trained by incompetent favorites. There is no diversity in leads and very little in management. They were owned by VSP but out of nowhere got rebadged to an AI company and no one has a heck of an idea what’s going on and the management is too incompetent to find out. It could be a great place if they fixed the software to be more user friendly and hired competent leaders. It feels like high school. The managers are petty and need to be replaced. Hoping this new company that bought them out has a pair of eyes that can see how the culture can ruin what could be an excellent company. Why celebrate every holiday but Black History Month. Do they not even know, as part of the company is still VSP, that Dr. Posten a black man founded this company. Total ignorance that is ignored and should not be. What a divisive place and even hostile at times and toxic. If you’re afraid of losing your job, you’ll hate it.
