Casual work environment and you get to sell something someone actually needs. You can also sit down while talking to patients/customers.

Cons

Your work experience will vary depending on management. Pay range is on the low end for the industry…which may affect the quality of managers you get and their enthusiasm. Training was erratic at best and their locations are perpetually understaffed (see the pay issue above).

Flexible shifts, good manager, team efforts, They take time in training new hires. Accommodating job for students. Good start for a career in optometry

Cons

pay could be better. No advancement or benefits for part time positions. Also, so many rules and regulations because of corporate nature.
