Good Company For Some...

Pros

Good salary and benefits, new senior management, many good-friendly people to work with. This company is trying to change and become a well-rounded company.

Cons

If you're a Product Manager, F5 isn't the place for you. This is an engineering-focus company and engineering with do what they want - regardless of what what committed. A recent re-org placed product management under the CTO - makes it even worse. Severe lack of team work and collaboration, the company places a high priority of big egos and down-right unprofessional people - a friendly work environment is not important here.

Pros

Competitive pay structure with great benefits. Dynamic and exciting environment filled with smart, fun and inviting coworker community. Good knowledge and support system/tools available for transition, higher learning or self motivation.

Cons

With any hyper-growth company, there usually follows growth challenges with supply/demand, infrastructure and internal processes. The latter definitely contributed to bottlenecks on the operations side, trickling slowly outward to deliverables. Movement in management had caused subtle-mild changes climate and moral.

Pros

Your integrity is a key factor on getting a job with F5. I look forward to going to work - and truly feel that I work with people that are passionate about what they do. Many companies in the Seattle area claim the same, F5 is the company where you can see it. Good benefits Neutral on salary Much needed changes and upgrades to HR systems are finally being done

Cons

Very limited flexibility on working remotely - yet space is almost at capacity and parking is over capacity Little opportunity in continuing education type courses - lack of budget
