Pros

Technical team is great, if cliquish. Benefits are solid company is financially solid, top management is sincere. Has large industry foot print.

Cons

Management is shaky at times, blames individual contributors for management failures. Does not always give notice nor severance. Small cubes, crowded noisy floors, hard to get creative. Lower and middle management does nto get enough or proper training.

Pros

Leader in ADC market with a clear vision of expansion into other markets (security, firewall, cloud). There is still a startup mood at F5. Good salary, great people at work. Good medical insurance + flex-plan + ESPP.

Cons

San Jose office is boring. Seattle is better. Tel Aviv office is good. Tomsk office is the best. There is no culture at F5. No hackathons, no beer parties, no pet projects. Bad communication between different teams. Micromanagement. Lots of hiring recently which bloated once a small company. Some junk hires.

Stocks are doing great Kitchen stocked up with snacks once in 2 weeks I guess Benefits are good

Cons

Used to be a great company. Work culture is very bad. Management grows worse day by day. Setting unachievable goals and forcing employees to show up on weekends and holidays for the sake of showing up but not really concerned about people being productive. Management does not hear you. Have never seen such a bad work culture in my prior experiences
