Pros

-- our product does a lot that other cannot -- good pay and benefits -- work with a lot of great people

Cons

Support is difficult -- the complexity of the product is making it difficult to support -- the quality and stability has been dropping steadily as we are in a perpetual race to meet self imposed releases dates -- unrealistic demands are are being put on the front line support that is causing low moral

Pros

You will have a lot of technical exposure and take away is political skills. You will learn patient.

Cons

A hostile working environment with bad politic to manipulate you. for example; they will ask you to close 2 cases every day even though it does not state in your employment contract initially. If you can't close 2 cases every day, your immediate boss will threaten or insult you. No equal opportunity. Ready to face for emotional depression and insomnia. Customer support engineers are Guinea pigs.
