Pros

Good pay, excellent benefits, great coworkers

Cons

Not even sure where to start. This company (under John McAdams) was all about loyalty and a sense of family. That is all gone now under Francois. It is now all about outsourcing and "maintaining control". A major reason for the recent layoffs and desire to close the Lowell office was to maintain a certain margin so the board didn't gain control over the current executive staff. This company would have been much better served if the board DID take control. Upper management is in disarray. One comes to Lowell and states"there is no future for Product Development here". To have another come in and be confronted with that statement to backtrack and deny it. There is no future in Lowell. Anyone still working here should be it looking for a new opportunity before they are unceremoniously dumped. Once the current project is done, everyone will be gone.

Pros

The compensation is OK and is slightly higher than some of its competitors. There are good snacks in the kitchen. The product is interesting.

Cons

Non existent HR policies. The HR is more like a bullying organization to keep people silent despite management abuse. Very bad treatment of employees by the management. It is a very political organization. In fact I would say this is one of the most political companies for the size. There is mistrust between Seattle and San Jose employees.
