Pros

Stable company with amazing benefits. Being an industry leader with a positive cash flow makes this a safe and secure employer that will be around for a long time. The health care offered is absolutely top-notch with good 401k match, RSUs, and ESPP programs. There is a large and diverse range of opportunities and teams throughout the company with opportunities to move internally to other teams/groups.

Cons

Teams and groups within the company are incredibly siloed, which leads to a lot of "not our job" kinds of mentalities or throwing things over the wall rather than collaborating. Deadlocks or bottlenecks due to lack of collaboration are common. Many large projects end up with incomplete or unreasonable requirements from non-technical business people or those same people push ill-advised technology decisions onto technical people to implement that do not and cannot meet the given requirements, when the technical people would have been able to do better given well-drafted requirements and left to implement/design/choose a solution.

Pros

beer friday free drinks free lunch 1-3 days a week free parking or mass transit (depending on location) high pay high promotion potential 2.5 words: salaried non-exempt (look it up); note that this is only for NSEs & TSCs

Cons

somewhat against work from home for many positions there can be long hours . . . but with overtime or vacation day compensation sometimes they run out of [free] half and half creamer . . . though they've gotten much better about that seriously, there really isn't any cons
