      Got my foot in the door

      Pros

      I was changing career focuses through independent study. I struggled for 6 months, applying for jobs where I couldn't get a second glance, but then I got hired by FDM. The training gave me knowledge and credentials needed to be successful in my path and a foot in the door with a noteworthy client site

      Cons

      The placement process can be challenging if you are not the most technical in your group. More studying and practice got me there though.
