Good foot in the door, poor pay and benefits

Great opportunity to work at Fortune 500 companies in fintech especially if you have a non-traditional background such as being self taught or a bootcamp graduate.

Cons

Pay is ridiculously low. Benefits are very expensive if you have a family. Be aware you are a contractor, and the clients can and do play games with your assignments. I have seen the bait and switch on placements in regards to which teams you will be working on, tech stacks, and even roles (had a coworker who was a backend dev magically land on a front end team, surprising everyone).

- Get to interview with some well reputed companies

Cons

- No real help or sufficient time provided to prep for interviews - The coding bootcamp is extremely rushed. People don't really understand fundamental concepts well enough before they are pushed out to be placed - They take a massive chunk of your salary. A salary 25K in London in the middle an inflation hike is a joke
