Pros

FEI has an extraordinary team of people, very skilled professionals, and a company culture that appears committed to encouraging, appreciating, and NOT fault-finding / blamestorming. This atmosphere is real, and it appears to me that the company is pretty intentional about hiring people that are not caustic in a work environment, but are rather accessible and team-oriented.

Cons

FEI is sometimes compulsive about some State and other contracts it pursues, occasionally attempting wins for projects that are outside the company's clear capabilities. This can be frustrating and disorienting, although I have to admit the team can be very skilled at finding foundations for work beyond what I would expect.
