1. Favouritism: There’s a lot of favouritism involved in the company. The company does not recognize smart people who have actuall skills and work hard. Rather, people are promoted based on their relationships with the upper management. 2. Unstable working environment: The company laid off few managers and senior executives within a span of 4 months. The teams were constantly shuffled and managers from parallel teams were placed in those positions without having any concrete work experience in that area. There was a constant fear of being laid off. 3. Below average managers - Commercial finance manager with supposedly 10+ years of experience within this company doesn’t even have basic executional skills. Doesn’t know how to delegate and is not at all supportive and would try to take your credit multiple times. This person was placed in a highly strategic role with having experience only in non-strategic positions before. 4. Deadweights in the company. They say that it’s an open door policy, but most of the people aren’t even informed of any kind of decision making. The deadweights in the company who have been there for long are continuing to grow while smart people leave or are being laid off because they are not proportionally rewarded or even recognized for their good work.
