Flexible schedules and 12% employer 401(a) Pension contributions.

Cons

Mostly all of funding from one source, USAID. This lack of funding diversification caused mass furloughs and layoffs when USAID funding was cut by the current administration.

This company values is employees, continually works towards cost-effective solutions, managing adaptively so people in the US and around the world can benefit as much as possible from each available dollar

Cons

There has been some lack of consistency about engaging with mid-level staff with expertise in their subject area and business segment to inform higher level decisions. While some decisions have been made well, others would have benefitted from thoughtful staff engagement.

FHI 360 has been a fantastic place to work. Everyone is so supportive and collaborative, and they take care of their employees. The leave benefits that you get from day 1 are like nothing I've ever experienced before, and they offer many opportunities for career advancement and growth.

Cons

Federal government cutbacks have resulted in the loss of several hundred employees.
