Pros

Used to be impactful and mission-driven; a long, long time ago.

Cons

Only cares about the bottom line- not the people it serves, not the people it employs. Huge potential to help this world but cannot get its head out of the sand. Leadership at all levels that remain post USAID are completely ineffectual or worry more about stroking executive egos than delivering impact. Terrible group heads.

Pros

Great community of very talented people

Cons

Organization doesn't value staff. The loss of USAID grants was not handled in the most ethical manner. Luckily the CEO has announced her departure which could be a great opportunity to improve relations between senior leadership and staff.
