      Pros

      Working at FINRA affords the opportunity to get industry experience. FINRA recruits college graduates, so if an individual is interested in the financial industry, then FINRA will provide you a good base. In addition, FINRA is fair in recognizing talent.

      Cons

      There are times when individuals are juggling several exams at a time and must meet certain deadlines.

      Pros

      Extensive benefits, work life balance, incentive compenstation, committment to market integrity are some of the great reasons to work at FINRA. I would recommend working here.

      Cons

      It's like any organization with the pros and cons of managment. I think most people fall into a category of doing their job well and then are promoted without any regards to being an effective manager. More time should be spent and required on management development. Should do 360 reviews to get an honest asssesment of manager's abilities.

      Pros

      Great benefits - good medical and dental plan choices, vision insurance is fantastic, 3 weeks paid vacation after one year, 401(k) with company match and a pension plan.

      Cons

      Information is unevenly shared across departments. Corporate culture promotes information hoarding. Departments and units become fiefdoms for some managers and directors. Decisions are made that affect multiple units by one group without input from affected units.
