Pros

The vast majority of FINRA employees are courteous and professional. The work has real-world results, keeping potentially nefarious broker-dealers at bay.

Cons

Over about a 10-year period, FINRA became very bureaucratic and top-heavy with managers.

Pros

Pretty good work life balance most of the time. Generally solid people around you and management does pay attention to work

Cons

Very team dependent on the quality of engineering. Some high performing teams are a dream, others not so much. The pace can be snail slow at times and far too fast at others
