There is no real comparative advantage to working here

Pros

The best part of working for FIS is the diversity of the workforce and ability to work with individuals all over the world.

Cons

Lack of transparency, lack of consistency in leadership, and poor decision making from executives. Internal merit increases do not keep up with inflation.

Pros

Coworkers are some of the most amazing and talented individuals you’ll meet. Direct managers are wonderful to work for. I never had a “bad boss”. Hours are flexible and PTO policy is generous.

Cons

FIS manages to their numbers through RIFs. Large layoffs happen 2-3 times per year. FIS corporate tends to bully employees into policy changes (comply or your fired). They seem more concerned with appearing forward thinking then actually doing it. They can be very rigid with requests for exceptions.
