Pros

If you're the type of individual who loves to learn and who isn't interested in just coasting through your day to earn a paycheck by boosting your production numbers through any means necessary, whether that be not actually helping cardholders or improperly reviewing fraud alerts, then this is a great job where you can learn some invaluable skills regarding credit and debit card fraud.

Cons

As I mentioned above regarding lazy individuals that are more interested in coasting through their days to earn a paycheck and boost their production numbers, it seems that enough of this behavior has gone on without being addressed and the falsely inflated numbers have successfully duped management, and the clients, into thinking that these numbers are consistently attainable every day. Working for FIS's Fraud Alert Management Department has become, to an extent, working for Wells Fargo Bank before their huge scandal a few years ago. After 8 and a half years, they just tossed me out like I was trash. I should have been able to enjoy a retirement from FIS after 30 years, and I was robbed of that.

Pros

FIS is a massive organization which provides a multitude of opportunities to expand your career either in the division/group/vertical you start out in or via transferring to a different division/group/vertical to expand your knowledge base.

Cons

Being such a massive organization, FIS doesn't typically listen to the "little man" and instead focuses more on the vision of the top leadership which is more interested in making Wall Street and their institutional investors happy in order to "earn" their multi-million dollar bonuses and stock grants rather than trying to improve products and solutions for the benefit of clients.

Thank you for taking the time to review us and sharing that FIS as an organization provides many opportunities to grow your career. FIS Chairman and CEO, Gary Norcross, often says he hopes FIS is the last place you ever work – not the last job you have, speaking to our endless career opportunities across the organization. Best of luck to you in your career journey.

Pros

Just a big company name

Cons

Horrible company to work for. They project to be agile, but none of them know anything about it.
