Pros

Good people in Birmingham office.

Cons

Pay is extremely below market value. Great for shareholders and bad for employees.

It’s ok

Pros

There is a small 401k match, stock purchase deal, and a few choices for medical insurance (although it is costly). You can work from home a lot.

Cons

They talk a lot about work/life balance, but the reality is that you get so much work that you can’t apply any balance. You usually have to work while you eat lunch, and almost never leave at 5:00. There were no raises in my department in 2021. It’s not a great feeling.

Ups and downs

Pros

Love the people and schedule flexibility.

Cons

Constant fire drills to make the numbers. End of year is often a struggle as we collectively search dark corners and couch cussions for anything to help get to goals.
