Worst manager ever

Pros

Opportunities for career development, if you are favored by management.

Cons

Company bought out 3 times during my employment, inconsistent policies regarding raises, bonuses, and very lack luster response to covid. Everything went down hill when JAY LEBLANC was hired. He refused to be present to take escalations, often putting his responsibilities on agents; without promoting them to higher positions with higher pay. He refused to be straight forward with information about changes being made, and I was specifically singled out and ridiculed for asking very relevant and important questions regarding pay increase, schedule changes, covid 19 response etc. His main concern was being on the clock without having to lift a finger. Refused to do his managerial duties such as adjusting payroll and hours based on his own personal vendettas. Often lied about being in meetings to leave work early or avoid answering questions and taking escalated clients. There isn’t enough space to describe how incompetent this manager was, the last straw for me was having none of my hours logged in for a full payroll period. Ensuring that I got a check for zero dollars on Christmas Eve; to teach me a “lesson”. And instead of being upfront with employees he would often put on a performance of being nice, cool, and understanding; while secretly disparaging you to your coworkers. Using terms like ghetto, Rosa parks, and other racially charged comments to get his point across while disparaging you to your coworkers. The company over all isn’t a bad place to work if you have no dreams, no passions, no real life or career goals. Before you know it you will have been working for years and your check won’t reflect any growth or changes to show improvement or moving up in a career path unless you want to go into management. And maybe you should because clearly they will hire anybody to be a manager; you don’t even have to do anything but ride the clock. Hopefully this problem has been taken care of, however if you end up getting hired and your manager is JAY LEBLANC first name JAMIRYL I would suggest you request an immediate change of teams and site this review as your reason. You have been warned. Lucifer Morningstar would be a better manager to work under.
