Pros

Flexibility to work remote and no micromanaging

Cons

Company focus more on profit then retaining their employees. I have seen numerous times where individuals with a lot of talent were just let go or when they left they did nothing to try to keep them

Pros

Overall great product set, and plenty of very smart people.

Cons

The entire culture is built around preparation for next big acquisition as it has been built that way. Everything is deeply siloed, with zero sales coordination across various teams. True “churn and burn” sales culture, with little client regard. All about what is the next product we can push. Evident by super high turnover, on both Worldpay and FIS side. Oh, and monthly layoffs as business direction constantly changes to prepare for next acquisition.

Thank you for your candid feedback. As FIS continues to grow and develop through a mix of organic growth and acquisitions, that sometimes requires change across various aspects of the organization, including re-organization. You identified yourself as a current colleague, so we encourage you to report any of your stated concerns through your manager, a member of the People Office, or FIS Ethics Hotline.

Pros

not very fast pace, good salary, and good benefits

Cons

Cubicle farm, Very dry humor, Jail style office layout, and the work is not the most exciting. Found some cool people there but most checked out of life and were zombies. Had a meeting run over into lunch when nothing important was being discussed and I said that I had to go, I was meeting my mother for lunch. I got laughed at for about 5 minutes and written up for it. I didn't actually have lunch with my mother, It was a phone interview with another company during my lunch break. I took the new job immediately.
