Good people in the trenches, good benefit packages.
Cons
Attempts to build single silo reporting structures across the whole organization stifles creativity and leads to groups being managed by others that don't understand culture, customers and systems unique to each group. The knee jerk reaction to potentially missing profit targets is always layoffs, hiring freezes and salary freezes. Understand that when you read a review of a company like this, it's usually from a perspective or a single part of the organization and may not apply across the board.
