Pros

Good learning opportunities. Nice facility including cab, food. Flexible timing. Great onsite support. Lucky to get onsite opportunity.

Cons

Worst India management. If you are working under RIM, then the management is worst. Scouting senior manager. Trying to micro manage. Lot of politics.

Pros

After eliminating my position, they offered me a new position that I was qualified for.

Cons

The benefits are lousy. FIS buys companies on a regular basis but they still haven't figured out how to integrate both companies. After approximately 18 months, they still haven't set up a network trust between FIS and the company I worked for that they purchased. I asked an employee who worked for a company FIS purchased a little over two years ago how long it took to integrate their company with FIS. The employee sighed and said they still hadn't. The FFIEC mentioned this in their audit. Also, after the company I worked for was purchased, I was notified that my job was eliminated, I was offered another job working on the FIS side. Within two weeks after accepting the new position, I was notified that I had to work my old job that was eliminated and the new one I just accepted without any extra compensation. Finally, the email address books haven't been synched and it's been over a year. It made it difficult to communicate with FIS employees. I had to manually look up email addresses. Try sending out invitations to large meetings when you manually have to look up and type in the email addresses.

Thank you for your feedback. While we are disappointed to hear your sentiments towards the recent transition, we appreciate your candor and the time you have taken to share your insights. We understand that some of the post-acquisition integrations were a bit lengthy and frustrating for employees. Moving forward, we'll continue to enhance these processes and search for more efficient methods of migration. We encourage employee participation in decisions affecting daily professional responsibilities. Employees who have job-related concerns are encouraged to discuss with their immediate supervisor, any other management representative or their People Office representative.
