Pros
Great opportunities to gain experience quickly and make a name within the cement/minerals industry. FLSmidth has a good name within the industry. Pay and benefits at or slightly above industry standards. People are overall wonderful to work with. Culturally diverse work environment. Opportunities for advancement seem to exist if employee is motivated. Experienced gained from FLS is a positive for other companies in the industry looking for applicants.
Cons
Management hierarchy is wide with recent acquisitions. Many managers focus on own departments or product groups instead of overall good of FLS group. Difficulties arise in working between departments. Appears efforts are being made to improve structure.
